Here are the settings:
Go to Messaging and then to email settings.
Go to Add a new email account or Set up a new account whatever there is in your phone.
Type the account name.
(Some sets may display the account name and not edit option, click on edit for those sets)
Fill the remaining settings as follows:
Here we are using Yahoo
Email Address : e.g. nayanayakura@yahoo.com
SMTP Server Settings:
Authentication: NO
Domain: yahoo.com
Server Address: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Port number: 25 (In most sets it is automatically generated)
Reception Server: pop3
Pop3 serevr settings:
Login: e.g. nayanayakura(Your yahoo Id)
Password : xxxxxxxx (Your Yahoo Password)
Authentication : yes
Server Address : pop.mail.yahoo.com
Port number : 110 (Generated automatically in most sets)
Note: Your GPRS service should be working for this purpose.
